We always go to the Pie Shop when we get back from surfing at Muriwai. It’s very convenient.We love the pies and the desserts (Sweetheart and Homestead), they are really fresh and tasty. The customer service is great as well! Best pie in Auckland area!

12/15/2019 Nothing short of 5 stars. The fact you can see the pies being made gets a star itself. Nowhere else can I see my pie being made like that, so I know what has gone into it. The aroma gets you started, the decor fits a pie shop (if you will sit then still eat out of the bag, it's a pie not a lasagne).
Best pie in years. Mince and cheese yummy and crispy. Plum pie - better than the book itself.

12/02/2019 I’m pretty fussy. Certainly one of the best pies I’ve had in over 40 years.
Simple menu(perfect). Intelligent staff.
You just need to time your trip to Kumeu with traffic flow. It’s worth the trip.
The chilli bean pie satisfied this carnivore.

10/20/2019 This place puts all other pie places to shame. Upon my first visit I had two pies and a dessert pie. The only downside is that it's literally the opposite end of Auckland to where I live.
If I could give more stats. I would. The pie shop deserves it.

My daughter, her cousin and I stopped in at The Pie Shop after some mad tree climbing at Tree Adventures.
The quality is second to none!
These pies are more than "just a pie", this is PIE HEAVEN.
Handmade pies right before your eyes......
MASTER = chunks of phenomenal steak and 2 cheeses!!
THE MAVERICK = Red chilli beans and vegan cheese!!
Don't worry kids..... We're definitely making the pilgrimage to see you again... Real soon
